With the commercial clean vehicle credit, businesses that buy a qualified commercial clean vehicle –inclusive of cars, vans, trucks and other passenger vehicles as well as larger vehicles like school buses and semi-trucks – may qualify for a clean vehicle tax credit of up to $40,000.
The advanced energy project credit can provide a tax credit that equals 30% of qualified investment costs for projects that meet prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, or 6% for projects that do not meet requirements.
The alternative fuel vehicle refueling property credit is available to businesses that place qualified refueling property into service during the tax year. To qualify for the credit, refueling property must be used to store or dispense clean-burning fuel or to recharge EVs. The credit can equal up to $100,000 for each single item of qualified refueling property.
